oso, 29-07-2004 - 15:43

Republican officials in Medford denied press credentials to reporters from the Rogue IMC seeking to cover tomorrow's Bush-Cheney '04 Rally at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. Claiming that they were concerned about protests, Meg Barnett with the Jackson County Republican Party hung up the phone when pressed with questions about freedom of the press.

Despite this infringement on our rights as members of the press, Rogue IMC reporters will be on the scene covering the events on the outside of tomorrow's exclusive Republican affair.

Review of The Filmore Hotel, Activism Theatre

T, 14-07-2004 - 12:58

Della and Mrs. and Mr. Guest The Filmore Hotel, a play performed by the Village Players theatre troupe, is an incredible example of activism through performance art. I encourage the community to witness history in the making and I highly recommend that you take a friend, maybe even a business acquaintance, to go see it.
