Thursday evening 12/16/2011 at 6:00 p.m. Occupy Medford went Christmas Caroling at the Rogue Valley Mall. A flash mob of 16 people sang Occupy variations of the songs "Jingle Bells" and "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas".

The response was positive from the people who stopped for a moment to observe. After completing our 3rd round of singing, Mall Security made their presence known, civilly asking us to leave.
We civilly agreed to leave, handing out the announcement for our next event: Occupy Ashland City Council in solidarity with the City of Ashland moving their money from Bank of America and Wells Fargo to a local community bank. The event will start Tuesday, Dec 20 at 6:00 p.m. in Lithia Plaza, and we will then march to the City Council meeting by 6:45 to respectfully observe proceedings and voice our support of Ashland's divestment of funds.
