Cuba Caravan Preview Event

A sneak preview of the 21st Pastors for Peace Cuba Caravan will take place Wednesday April 14, 7:30 to 9 pm, at the Ashland Library. The Caravans have gone to Cuba since the early 90's, taking each time a hundred or more travelers and tons of material aid to our neighbor nation.
This year's Caravan is due in Ashland Friday July 9, and will depart the next day, en route to Cuba. On the 14th we will view a new DVD produced by the Cuban Film Institute which tells the story of the Caravan: what it does, why, and how. One segment of the film covers the Latin American School of Medicine, where students from many countries, including the US, study to become doctors.
