It's entirely possible you've never heard about our film so please let me explain. We are documentary filmmakers based in Washington, D.C. For the past 10 years, we've been specializing in films about nonviolent movements including A Force More Powerful and Bringing Down a Dictator (I won't bore you with details. You can check out our website if you want to know about our past productions  http://www.yorkzim.com).

Documentary film Orange Revolution in Southern Oregon on SOPTV this Sunday, January 31 at 10:00pm.

In 2007 we came out with Orange Revolution about the 2004 Ukrainian presidential election and the street protests that followed. It premiered at the Chicago International Documentary Film Festival on April 1, 2007. The film was an official selection at subsequent film festivals in San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Toronto, Calgary, Edinburgh, Melbourne and Mumbai.

In response to requests from activists around the world who are interested in what the Ukrainians did, we've already translated our film into Spanish, Arabic, and Vietnamese. We also did a Farsi version of the film and it was circulating madly around Iran last June when the citizens were on the streets protesting their stolen election. The film was screened at the Ukrainian Museum in New York last weekend and on public television in Philadelphia last week.

Orange Revolution has been scheduled to air on public television in Southern Oregon this Sunday. We would be grateful for your help in distributing the attached flyer (which can be distributed electronically) and billboard (which can be printed and posted) to persons in Southern Oregon who might be interested in our film. (You will notice that the flyer and billboard mention a previous broadcast of the film on Saturday January 23rd. We wish we had had the time to notify you about this air date earlier, but there are so many broadcasts of the film now around the country it is hard to keep up.)

We encourage you to visit our website  http://www.OrangeRevolutionMovie.com to learn more about our film. If you're on Facebook, please consider becoming a Fan of Orange Revolution.

Thank you and best wishes,

Rebekah Wingert
