Women In Black standing silently for peace on December 2, 2009.
The Women in Black will continue standing in silence for peace from 12 noon to 12:30 pm Wednesdays in Vogel Plaza, corner of Main and Central in Medford, Oregon.
Women in Black. is a world-wide network of women committed to peace with justice and actively opposed to injustice, war, militarism and other forms of violence. As women experiencing these things in different ways in different regions of the world, we support each other's movements. An important focus is challenging the militarist policies of our own governments. We are not an organization, but a means of communicating and a formula for action.

Ashland Women in Black this Saturday 03.12.2009 - 14:47 for those who can not make a weekday Women in Black vigil, but still want to participate Ashland Women in Black has started up again on Saturday's. It is from 11-11:30am on the first and third saturday of the month at the Ashland Downtown Plaza.
