Join us for the Indigenous Corn Festival and Welcome Back Pow-Wow November 22, 2008



This is the first time in SOuthern ORegon that indigenous people from The US and Central America are joining together to celebrate our indigenous traditions.

Indigenous Corn Festival

Saturday November 22, 2008

10:00am - 8:00pm

Ashland Middle School

100 Walker Ave

Hands on tortilla making

Corn preservation, preparation and growing

Stone tools for grinding corn

Make tortillas

Crafts using corn

Traditional dancers from the Purh'epecha nation

Participate in traditional dances



Tamale contest $100 for winner PLease call to preregister for the tamale contest.
