April 5th Tribute to 4000 Dead U.S. Soldiers

Dear Friends of Citizens for Peace & Justice,
Please join us at 1 pm this Saturday, April 5th, at the Rogue Valley Mall in the parking lot north of the Shell station off Crater Lake Highway. We'll gather for the reading of the names of Oregonians who have died in Iraq and Afghanistand and a song or two each by Beth Baker and Pete Herzog. Then we'll walk around the perimeter of the mall property with our signs and our chants.

Show Southern Oregon that we care about the loss of our troops and want to bring them home NOW!
Show them that we also care about the approximately 1 million Iraqis who have died and the millions more who have been injured or forced into exile by the war.
Originally, this event would have been held Saturday, April 26, but too many of us had conflicts or would be out of town, so we scheduled it for April 5th instead. We apologize for any confusion about the date of the event.
We'll see you at the mall on Saturday.
