Dear Friends of Citizens for Peace & Justice,
Maybe you think the Iraq War is no longer an issue. I wouldn't be so sure. Unless we keep the pressure on our government and the candidates for the presidency, how can we be sure that 4,000 more US troops and hundreds of thousands more Iraqis won't die over the next five years.
Join CPJ, the Rogue Valley Peace Choir a On March 15th in Alba Park in downtown Medford from 11 am to 1 pm, you can show your community that Five Years IS Too Many and that it's time to End the War Now!
Join CPJ, the Rogue Valley Peace Choir and many other progressive Southern Oregon groups that are co-sponsoring this event. We'll sing together, talk together and march together through the streets of downtown Medford, then reconvene at Alba Park. Last March about 300 of you turned out on the 4th anniversary of the Iraq War. I'm hoping that we'll have even more this year.
