12/18/07-JUST RELEASED - The Federal Communications Commission approved new rules that will unleash a flood of media consolidation across America. The new rules will further consolidate local media markets -- taking away independent voices in cities already woefully short on local news and investigative journalism. THIS IS TOTALLY CONTRARY TO CITIZENS INPUT AT THE FCC PUBLIC HEARINGS WATCH THE HEARINGS ON RVTV AND JUDGE FOR YOURSELF. FCC "Media Ownership" Public Hearing on Rogue Valley Community Television. (RVTV) will cablecast the public testimony given in Seattle, WA. On 11/9/07 at the FCC regional hearing on "Media Ownership"

The Gathering Days: At The Bellview Grange: Dec: 22, 23, 24 & 25
in collaboration with KSKQ.org, RedEarthDescendants.org, WebSpiritCommunity.com, and PeaceVillageFestival.org, is hosting The Gathering Days from Winter Solstice through Christmas Day. The Gathering Days provides a place for the community to come together over the holidays. There will be 4 days of potlucks and activities from Saturday, December 22nd through Tuesday, December 25th, all held at the Belleview Grange at 1050 Tollman Creek Rd., in Ashland | MORE INFO, TIMES AND SCHEDULE and to get involved:
