"Merchants of Pus" - Antiwar community activists targeted with personal harassment by Right-wingers
A number of community activists who worked to help organize the Peace March and Rally in Portland on Sep. 29th and who are also active in the Left wing of the 9/11 Truth movement, are being targeted by a barrage of personal~political abuse utilizing the methods of right-wing "all American" neonazi Lyndon Larouche and his disciple Webster Tarpley.
The harassment comes in the form of published surveillance video, photographs, articles and audiovideo materials specially designed and formatted to attack our personal lives, threatening our families and loved ones, targeting us with lies and slander and attempting to destroy our credibility in the community. It is infested with accusations of us being "Al Qaida", "terrorists", "infiltrators", "spies", "agents", "foreign intelligence", etc. and elements of sexual, personal and psychological quality to a degree that's almost unfathomable.
Some of the material is so bad that even Google corporation and Youtube have stepped in to categorize it as being inappropriate and in violation of its terms of service, restricting access to it. Even though some of the accounts of the anonymous violators have already been suspended, a big chunk of the material is still being circulated to hundreds of community activists.
The summary below is a compilation of some of these abusive materials, and following it is a short passage on who the abusers are, their politics, and their methods.

The video listed below begins with segments of surveillance video of Petros Evdokas and a photo of Sara Lamadrid both taken at the Peace Rally, embossed with the phrase "Sexual Exploitation", and the word "MICE" (which is a recurrent theme in psychopolitical propaganda generated by the followers of Lyndon Larouche).
Images were manipulated to place emphasis on my delightful Middle Eastern big nose (the SNOUT of a RAT, according to the neonazis who made this), complete with my Street Medic bag and First Aid insignia on it. Sara's image is distorted to dehumanize and objectify her, making her presence appear shallow, vague and foggy.
The voices of Webster Tarpley and Captain Eric May are played over the images by which we are accused of being "Merchants of Pus". Webster Tarpley is heard saying:
"...He wants to slander you and vilify you from the shadows, spread disinformation, distortions. These are the venom-mongers, the merchants of pus who like to operate from behind the scenes. These are the wreckers and saboteurs, and of course the question is posed: Is this COINTELPRO? Is this the conform of the FBI counter-gang?"
There's Hebrew writing constantly floating over our images to illustrate the "Jew connection".
The page is filled with fake code numbers to create a "James Bond" kind of feeling and to convey the message that this work is supposedly the product of a "people's' counterintelligence" unit.
The text says:

It takes a considerable amount of effort and skill to have manipulated the images so that the other Street Medics who were with me at the Peace March are made invisible. Additionally, all the other techniques used to create this video make it obvious that this is not the work of idle hobbyists who just do politics "on the side".

The "CAT RAT MIX"

The above is a longer version of a similar video barrage (about 8 minutes long). Just like the one listed earlier, it follows a format that's calculated to induce temporary insanity, shame and despair in its victims and to underline a very real threat: "we know where you are, we know what you look like - be afraid". It includes several mentions of our colleague and local community activist Jo Cressy, with her email address and photos.
One phrase in the video says, "Real patriots like Captain May ...are slandered by deviant scum like Jo Cressy of Portland Oregon."
Jo Cressy is one of the activists who did a lot of good work to help put together a large event on the PSU campus in the Spring, featuring the theologian and author Dr. David Ray Griffin:

She worked tirelessly for that event, with dignity, with excellent dedication to accountability and democratic process. It is the height of injustice to drag her name into this.

begins with images of Petros and Sara and the text:
"Reliance on MICE compromised individuals yielded a weak team in Portland: poorly trained agents motivated by revenge and unable to take control of the local activist group. When the lawyer threw out the [...] penetration agents the agents called the POLICE and threatened the other group members. Tarpley is right."

The "lawyer" referred to here is Portland lawyer Ginny Ross who has been involved with some of the local enablers, disciples and supporters of the abusers - we have asked her many times in writing in the last few months (both in private and in public) to restrain them, or to denounce their activities, but she is very slow to respond and reluctant to differentiate her position from them. Up until very recently, Ginny Ross was very active the official structures of the Democratic Party in Portland but in recent months she has been curiously drifting politically closer and closer to some of these cells of operatives.
She is well aware of the degenerate agendas of some of her political "acquaintances" and all it would take to disarm them would be a few words from her. But she is very reluctant to denounce their actions, even though they are now clearly engaged in a sustained campaign of illegal operations. She has presided over meetings where some of these accusations against us were made repeatedly without providing any legal warning and advice to her colleagues that what they're doing (defamation, slander, harassment, stalking) is against the law.

Threats against our families
One page is titled

Among other things it says:
"...terrorists have been specifically identified. The members could be charged with treason, espionage, and accessory to murder. Using children as a human shield is a tactic frequently employed by terrorist organizations. [Their] training encourages terrorists to place family members near key [...]assets, increasing the risk for collateral damage. Fighting the terrorists remains the top priority..."

Essentially they're saying to us "We know you have children. Be afraid. Their presence will not protect you from us. The children's presence in this conflict is your fault; you are using them as human shields but be aware they'll just be wasted as collateral damage. And that is proof that you're a terrorist".
Who they are
We don't know the names of those who have actually created and published this material. We only know the names and addresses of some of their associates in Portland - they've provided our photos to the abusers and identified us in the surveillance video so that the "artistic video masterpieces" could be created.
The abusers are disciples and supporters of Lyndon Larouche, Webster Tarpley (neonazi anti-Semites and genocide deniers); the Oregon Constitution Party (white supremacist christian, antigay, antiwoman hate-group); some are members of the pdx 9/11 Truth Alliance; and various are "independent" (non-member) supporters of these groups.
Some of them have been using the radical Laughing Horse Bookstore for meetings which unfortunately gives them a misplaced and undeserved credibility within the progressive community, even while a majority of the Laughing Horse Collective have been trying for more than six months to get them out of there - they have "a foot in the door" because a prominent member of the Collective supports them. They are difficult to dislodge.
Members of the progressive community have identified and confronted some of the Portland-based abusers, but their presence at Laughing Horse and the participation of lawyer Ginny Ross at their meetings are sources of strength and "credibility" for them. At these meetings, some of the material listed above is presented and cited as "proof" that we are spies and therefore supposedly fair targets of abuse. There are ongoing calls among them to continue with the campaign. Recently at one of the meetings there was an effort to persuade the group to pool its money to hire "a tail" for one the RATS (me!, meaning they discussed hiring someone to follow me) - we don't know if it was approved by the abusers.
Politics and Methods
The same circle of operators, working through the Lyndon Larouche neo-fascist organization in conduction with various US intelligence and enforcement agencies, have been doing the same thing for decades. An infamous operation of theirs that took place in the early seventies was called "Operation Mop Up": through one of the Larouche front groups named National Caucus of Labor Committees (NCLC), they succeed to drive a wedge of poison, mistrust, fear and violence between the emerging revolutionary movement and organized Labor.
Their method is to target activists with accusations, personal attacks intended to discredit and cause mental emotional instability, vulnerability and non-stop fear for one's self and loved ones. "Operation Mop Up" was the only one we know of during which they also used violence openly; most of their other operations are far more sophisticated - they are lethal in nonviolent ways.
They carried out a sustained operation like this against Petra Kelly - the world-known Green activist - to a degree that was so damaging in her personal and political life, that it drove her to suicide.
They specialize in using a form of "psycho-terror" that is a blend of conventional state-sponsored terror such as surveillance, threats, blackmail, etc, combined with distorted elements of psycho-sexual "techniques" lifted from pseudo-Freudian psychoanalysis, in order to target the victim with specially personalized abuse intended to disrupt one's mental-emotional functions.
Here's an example of how they operated against Petra Kelly:
"In 1982-83 [they] went after Petra Kelly, leader of Germany's Green Party and a strong advocate of removing U.S. missiles from German soil. Various smear articles called her a Communist, a terrorist, and sexually promiscuous. An article entitled "Did You See This Whore on Television?" described her alleged affairs with married men. She sued the LaRouchians for libel in New York federal court. Her attorney, former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark, said the LaRouchians had engaged in a "vicious campaign that made it difficult for her to appear in public. The campaign became physical at times. They cornered her on a train, they shoved her grandmother around....They abused her most fundamental rights of privacy, dignity, physical integrity, and reputation."

Images of sexual mutilation, penetration and torture are a strong element of their abuse techniques. And within that context, they make sure to generate for their target the feeling that "we know all about you, we're going to get you". In the modern era of the CIA's "Special Rendition" program of kidnapping, torture flights and secret prisons, and after the Abu Ghraib sexual humiliation tortures, the threats take on more ominous hue.

Another one of their methods is Reverse Camouflage, a reversal of the conventional technique of camouflage. Instead of hiding something about themselves by blending it into an innocent surrounding, they "hide it in plain view" mixed in a with a lot of contradictory and confusing material which is almost impossible to process. The truth is hidden within a "big mess". This perverse form of "transparency" protects them from opponents who are stuck thinking in absolute terms like "things are either black or white".
The abusers manifest openly their intentions, their methods, techniques and ideology, but most eyes are too rigid to see them - if you have time and interest though, it's easy to get past the distractions. Stay with the repeating patterns, stop the mind from analyzing, follow what's being played on the emotions - things emerge clearly.
The politics that guide these operations currently are an effort to neutralize the Peace movement by any means necessary. Webster Tarpley has been launching attacks against Cynthia McKinney and Cindy Sheehan and has been maneuvering every which way possible to drive a wedge of poison and mistrust between the Peace movement and the 9/11 Truth movement.
We were expecting minor and petty disruptions by this clique at the Portland Peace March and Rally, but they did not materialize. What we got instead came after the Rally: surveillance video and photos used in a barrage of threats and psycho-terror attacks against some of the volunteers who helped to organize the event. Well, if this our "punishment" for working on the Peace March and Rally, and for helping the Left wing of the Truth movement establish better bonds with the antiwar movement ...thanks for the punishment, it means we're doing the right thing!
A number of short videos produced by these same people spell out their politics clearly. If you have time and interest to watch them:
a. you can see in that they have a clear awareness that their work is parallel to what military intelligence calls "Psychological Operations (PsyOps)";
b. you can see fragments of their worldview (or at least the worldview they wish to organize into a political force); here's some text from the materials:
"The antiwar movement is designed to create an unfavorable view of the US Government and the military ...the goal is to increase dissatisfaction with the US Government and to create front organizations which can ultimately overthrow American Government and replace it with One World Government under the United Nations."
To them we are guerillas who threaten the US Empire. They say:
"PsyOp directed at the guerilla has one objective: to demoralize him, and to motivate him to defect. ...by whatever means possible, PsyOps reaches his ears and eyes stressing the futility of his Present, offering hope for his Future, if he defects."
Listing some of the dangers that the Empire is facing, the video below projects this in a table: "Infiltration, by foreign Communists, agents and agitators and foreign propaganda material, money, weapons and equipment".
Anti-Semitism? "Nah..!!" :
This phrase appears in the video, "The media is controlled by a Transnational syndicate", which is followed by an image of the Star of David, crowned with a swastika and circled by a snake.

Personally, though I feel somewhat scared and intimidated by the "special attention" that's targeted by this barrage of personal~political abuse against myself, my loved ones, friends and comrades, I also feel honored. It means that somewhere, every once in a while, we are doing the right thing working together and we're being effective against the Empire.
But it also means we need to do a whole lot more!
