Tiazza Wilson, a native of Morocco who has lived in the Rogue Valley since 2002, will present a program on understanding Arabs and Muslims at 7:30 PM on Friday, October 5, at the Bellview Grange Hall in Ashland. The event is being billed as a chance to sit down and talk with an Arab and Muslim asylee in the United States, in order to increase multicultural understanding and clear up some common American misconceptions about Arab and Muslim cultures and worldviews.

Wilson, the proprieter of Medford's Fitness Dance Studio, is a dance and fitness instructor and teacher of Arabic who has strong connections to Peace House through her "American parents," Bill and Melody Ashworth, who are helping to sponsor this program. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.
