The Problem: Anthropogenic global warming and its attendant ecologically destructive consequences. The capitalist economic system is incompatible with the symbiotic relationships found in nature because of its wasteful, destructive exponential growth in a finite environment.
Thursday, October 11th 7-9pm
The Solution: Democratic Socialist economic planning in a global cooperative society. Blind submission to the “market” must be supplanted to achieve harmony with ecological processes.
