My wonderful friend Selene is going to go to Afghanistan! and the local WILPF group wanted to show the film "Motherland Afghanistan" to support her and get the word out about her trip.

The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom and the SOU Women’s Resource Center present “Motherland Afghanistan” a short (74 min) film by Sedika Mojadidi. This inspiring documentary details the struggle of an Afghan doctor to make a difference in women’s lives in a harsh and unforgiving land. Admission is free.
