pogo, 11.05.2007 13:03

"Thirst" the movie is the award-winning documentary of cities who sold their water systems. With dramatic footage from Stockton, California and Cochabamba, Bolivia, the movie shows the perspectives of multinational executives, city councilors, public works employees, Citizen groups, and everyday people.

Thirst will be shown this Saturday May 12th from 7-9pm at the Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library - 258 A Street in Ashland

This movie will change how you think about municipal water. It helps understand why restrictive water language belongs in a city charter. Everyone who drinks water should see this movie.

RVML is the Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library & Event Center, in Nuwandart
Gallery, across from the hardware store on A Street.

Screening is sponsored by AshlandConstitution.org. Free. Donations requested to help cover room rental, flyers, etc.. No one turned away for lack of funds.
