Press Release
For Immediate Release
April 25, 2007

Grand Opening
Computer Drop Off Celebrates its Grand Opening at noon on
Saturday, April 28th with hot dogs, bicycle clowns and free* printer
recycling.

While operating out of an 11x20 foot storage unit most of
last year, one day per week, Computer Drop Off was able to deliver over 60
refurbished computer systems to a hurricane relief agency in New
Orleans!

Now offering 5 day per week service, from a highly visible
storefront on Highway 99 in Talent, Computer Drop Off is poised to better
serve Southern Oregons E-Waste challenge. Located at 1200 S.
Pacific Highway in Talent Oregon, Computer Drop Off is easily found,
nestled between Ashland Rentals and the new Tally-Ho restaurant.

Over 3 million tons of E-Waste fill our landfills every
year. While handling the challenge of insuring proper recycling of
computer components, we continue to refurbish donated computers and
place them in the under-served community including the Interfaith Care
Community of Ashland, the Manors Alzheimers unit and many local
Latino English-Language students,

In addition to proper environmental recycling of
components, Computer Drop Off now offers full service repair of computer systems including tune-up, virus removal, upgrades and complete backup and
restore. Our store now offers low-cost refurbished computer systems to
the general public for sale. Additionally, Computer Drop Off provides
system installation, network solutions and friendly end-user
tutorial and technology support to Southern Oregon businesses. Prices,
directions and a blog of Computer Drop Offs brief history is on line at
 http://www.computerdropoff.org.

Computer Drop Off is owned and operated by Jon Dowd,
formerly Technical Support Manager of InfoStructure. Mr. Dowd, a CompTIA A+ certified technician, brings seven plus years of professional
experience to this venture. His experience has allowed him direct, hands-on repair and rebuilding of hundreds and hundreds of computer systems. His friendly, effective, calm manner makes him a good choice for the areas preferred technician.

Drag that dead printer out of the garage and join the fun
on Saturday!

* Free printer recycling limited to one item per family,
must be less than 50lbs. This offer is for Saturday April 28th only.
