OurLibrary is a volunteer-based collective-run source for books and other information. It doesn’t exist yet. Help us start it. We’ll have our second organizational meeting at the Beanery on Tuesday, April 10th at 5pm if you’d care to show up and plug in.

It doesn’t exist yet. Help us start it.
We will organize this space and catalogue the books, which will circulate free to the public. We feel it’s important to organize this service now in the absence of a state-run library, for the benefit of the community. We feel that a library is too valuable to the community to go unprovided, so we are seeking to provide this service. We support the reopening of the Public Library system but would like to provide an alternate public space in the meantime.
Please respond and let us know if you would like to join the collective or help with this process by helping to maintain the space or collection, or if you have or know of a suitable space to house it.
