Red Earth Descendants(RED) and WebSpirit Community look forward to celebrating together the upcoming change of season (spring equinox) this weekend! We will be gathering this Saturday and Sunday, for native games & sports from 12 noon to 4:30ish, a potluck feast following the games, and then a film festival starting at 6pm in the Jackson Wellsprings community room. Needed: Players for a Webspirit Teams and Tribe.net teams and other community companies or organizations - at the Red Earth Descendants Native Games this Saturday and Sunday approximately noon to 5pm.

ATTENTION! Some games are very cardiovascular - repeat very CARDIOVASCULAR - teams allow for rotation of players!

We will be doing Co-ed Elimination Style Jima / Shinny in two age groups. 13 and under 14 and up. All teams will be eligible to be calle Grand Master Jima Champions of Sounthern Oregon and walk away with some gas money and a custom set of Jima sticks made by a Grand Master wood worker. please visit redearthdescendants.org to learn more of the event or down load poster.

Location: 2165 Hwy 99 between El Tapatio and Jackson Wellsprings. Games will be held in the grassy area to the south of the blue house. No parking on the grass....

Come Join Us for the Viewing of Three Never Before Seen Native Films, Native Speakers, Native Drumming, Native Vendors, Prayer and a Potluck Style Feast. All Proceeds will go to an Honoring of our Elders to be Held at the Elder-Youth Conference June 21st at Earthteach Forest Park www.etfp.org/

During the day: H.O.Y.E (Help Our Youth Excel) NATIVE GAMES

Will be held at the field adjacent to the Wellsprings on the Ashland side Noon till 6:00 pm.

We will be playing Jima, Hand Games, Moccasin Games, Hoop Games, NDN Tug-o-War, and others. Teams will be invited from all across Oregon and Northern California. Grand Prize will be a custom set of Jima sticks.

Team Admission will be a $50 Donation toward the Elder Honoring General Admission to the games is FREE
