great news! we, the southern oregan answer group has just officially hired a bus out to san francisco for the september 24th global anti-war march and rally. please step right up and board our tour bus that will leave the bi mart parking lot in ashland at 3am on the 24th and leaving san fran between 5 and 6pm. hopeful for some of our ashland activists to put up out of towners if neccessary.

price of seats are 45.00 round trip. pretty good considering fuel costs and 2years ago the seats were 40.00 per ticket. for more info, please call mori at 541-482-8288.

there are 47 seats available and some are already sold so make your purchases asap. due to the rate of bus costs there are no free bus seats at this time so for those who can not afford, get an elder or neighbor, or anyone to sponser you. there are also 14 inch monitors on board so we will be sure to creat momentum with some great mystery footage. see you on the bus!! mori

On September 24th 2005, there will be a mass anti-war protest in San Francisco. The protest will gather at 11am in Dolores Park (19th and Dolores). Flyer For Protest:  http://www.indybay.org/uploads/s24b-wsf.pdf

Thousands will march on Saturday, September 24 in Washington DC, San Francisco, Los Angeles. The A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition has urged the antiwar movement to come together for a united demonstration. Organizers say: "The people of Iraq are insisting that the United States leave their country immediately. As in Vietnam, the people of the United States must demand the immediate end to this war of conquest. As we fight to end the war in Iraq, we recognize that it is not enough to focus on a single front in this War for Empire. We must unite on a principled basis that recognizes the reality of our epoch. How can this war drive come to an end? People in Iraq, in Palestine, in Haiti, in Venezuela, in Cuba are resisting but the people of the United States must become their allies. Their resistance is part of the universal aspiration to live free from foreign domination or threats of a military or economic character."
