Images from Jacksonville earlier tonight 101504
Here are some of the images discussed in the newest feature article, the one about the cop riot in Jacksonville earlier tonight. The younger gentleman with the rubber bullet wounds was helping the older gentleman up after the cops pushed him over (I have it on video but a cord is missing from the office); the woman and child were standing next to me when I inhaled a free-floating cloud of pepper spray. My friends got nightsticked. The woman who is pointing at the cop line got her ankle twisted from being pushed. "Well, you should have done what you were told," some will say. Well, arrest me if I did something wrong. Don't attack my neighbors. Your force aint gonna teach me shit. You gang up on women and babies. Macho.

steve> pictures and video needed! 15.10.2004 - 16:53 We're compiling photo and video documentation confrontations between law enforcment and demonstrators at the unWelcome Bush protest. Of interest specifically, are clear examples of police violence or secret servicepeople provocations. We're speaking with a lawyer about the possiblity of a class action lawsuit, among other strategies. We would also like to interview people with compelling eyewitness accounts for future action. If you have photos or video footage of good quality please call 552-8764 (ask for Steve). grady> |
