Get Ready For More Logging.
Rep. Greg Walden will be in Medford on Monday January 26th to discuss the Healthy Forests Restoration Act (sic) at the Medford office of the BLM (3040 Biddle Road) from 3:00-4:45.
Currently the Medford BLM cuts more old-growth than all of the National Forests in Southern Oregon and Northern California combined. Although the Siskiyou National Forest is coming on strong with the Biscuit roadless area timber grab.
If you want to see a real live timber industry puppet, in his native habitat, Monday is your chance.
